Lucas Aykroyd

Lucas Aykroyd is an award-winning Vancouver travel and sports writer whose work has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the Globe and Mail. He’s written about Parksville for the Vancouver Sun, Tofino for Alaska Airlines Magazine, and Victoria for Delta Sky. Lucas has covered four Winter Olympics and 18 straight World Hockey Championships, and can’t wait to cover the 2019 World Juniors in Victoria. (He also gets inordinately excited when he sees the world’s largest hockey stick in Duncan.)
