Time Management – Effectively Prioritizing Your Time
Efficient time management is the key to getting the most out of your day—and to surviving the increased demands of today’s work environments. Time management is about being productive, controlling your workload and maintaining balance between professional and personal priorities. This session will provide you with tools and techniques to help you get organized, identify priorities, develop and maintain focus, deal with distractions and optimize your personal organizational skills.
Upon completion of the session participants will gain insight into how to:
- Take control of your day by identifying priorities, maintaining balance and dealing with daily distractions.
- Identify personal time wasters and learn how to handle or eliminate them, including interruptions and procrastination.
- Discover your time management strengths and personal effectiveness opportunities.

Jacquie discovered her passion for coaching and empowering others to succeed early in her career. She found her most rewarding experiences were always tied to working with others on their personal development and growth. This realization guided her decision to focus her career on inspiring others to unleash their potential through learning and development. For the last 18 years Jacquie has had the privilege of being involved in the development and delivery of engaging learning experiences with a focus on promoting self-awareness, personal growth and self-leadership.
Continuous learning has always been an integral part of Jacquie’s life, both personally and professionally. In 2012 she graduated from Royal Roads University with a Master of Arts in Leadership. She also holds a Certificate in Management, Human Resources, Adult Education, and her professional designation as Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP).
In the Fall of 2015 she launched Alere Learning Co., a learning and development consulting firm. She now has the privilege of helping organizations fulfill their employee and organizational development goals in a variety of areas, including: self-leadership, leadership development and coaching, change management and team building.
Jacquie recently moved to Qualicum Beach from Manitoba with her husband and family; loving the West Coast. When Jacquie is not working, or chilling in Qualicum Beach, she can be found down-under in Australia spending with the grandkids.
