Power of Partners Nomination Form
The Award
The Power of Partners Award recognizes a business or organization that has demonstrated building partnerships with other Vancouver Island region tourism businesses that have successfully increased visitation to the Vancouver Island Region. This tourism businesses and or organizations will be an inspiration in the development of cooperative initiatives.
The Nominees:
Companies or organizations are encouraged to submit their own nominations for this award or to nominate a company or organization that meets the award criteria.
Submissions:
To be eligible for this award the individual must own or be employed by a tourism-related business operating within the Vancouver Island region. The successful nominee will have utilized creative strategies to foster a partnership that is successful in generating increased visitation to the region. Nominations for this award must be delivered to the offices of Tourism Vancouver Island no later than 4:30pm on the submission deadline, August 4, 2011.

The criteria used to select the recipient of this award will be based on:
- An example of how the nominee developed and marketed a packaged tourism product in the past 12 months that included at least one other tourism business or organization in the Vancouver Island region.
- Evidence of the process used to bring partners together to develop the package.
- An example of success in attracting new visitation to the Vancouver Island Region through this partnership.
- Evidence of sustainability of the partnership.
