The Award

The Multi-Faceted Advertising Award recognizes a business or organization for its innovative use of various forms of advertising mediums in a specific and targeted campaign that was successful in attracting traveling consumers to their business or organization and the Vancouver Island Region.

The Nominees:

Companies or organizations are encouraged to put forward their own nominations for this award or to nominate a company or organization that meets the criteria outlined for this award.

Criteria and Eligibility:

To be eligible for this award the organization must be a tourism-related business operating
within the Vancouver Island region. The criteria utilized to select the recipient of this award
will be based on the evidence of:

  1. The primary goals and objectives of the campaign
  2. The use of more than one advertising mediums (Print, TV, Radio, etc.) in a specific and targeted campaign to entice visitors to their business or destination.
  3. The actual finished brochures, print, television, radio ads, etc…
  4. Increased visitation resulting from this Multi-Faceted Campaign.
  5. The campaign having been aired in the past 24 months.

Submissions:

Nominations for this award must be delivered to the offices of Tourism Vancouver Island no later than 4:30pm on the submission deadline, August 13, 2010.
