Innovator of the Year Nomination Form

 

The Award

The Innovator of the Year Award recognizes a business, organization, or individual that has developed or renewed a tourism product, package, or initiative that captures the attention of visitors and thus increases the desirability of the Vancouver Island Region as a destination.

The Nominees:

Companies, organizations, or individuals are encouraged to submit their own nominations for this award or to nominate a company, organization, or individual that meets the award criteria.

Submissions:

Nominations for this award must be delivered to the offices of Tourism Vancouver Island no later than 4:30pm on the submission deadline, August 6, 2012.

Please Note – Please fill out the nomination form below in detail. All fields are mandatory. Once you have started the nomination form it cannot be saved to finish at a later date. If you leave this page all information you have entered will be lost.

The criteria used to select the recipient of this award will be based on:

  1. Description of the innovation that has been completed and made available to the public within the past 24 months.
  2. Example of evidence that the innovation has attracted strong interest by visitors.
  3. Example that the innovation has attracted strong interest by travel trade and/or travel media.
  4. Description of how the innovation is a catalyst for tourism growth in the Vancouver Island Region.
  5. Evidence that there is a strong interest by travel media.
