Tourism Employee of the Year Nomination Form



The Award

The Tourism Employee of the Year Award recognizes a tourism employee that has demonstrated exemplary work performance, thereby enhancing business or customer satisfaction. This individual is valued for their outstanding commitment to improvement and consistently going above and beyond the scope of their assigned responsibilities

The Nominees:

Companies or organizations are encouraged to submit nominations for an individual within their own company or organization, or that of another that meets the criteria outlined for this award

Submissions:

The nominee must be employed by a tourism-related business operating within the Vancouver Island region. Nominations for this award must be delivered to the offices of Tourism Vancouver Island no later than 4:30pm on the submission deadline, August 4, 2011.

The criteria used to select the recipient of this award will be based on:

  • An example of how the individual has gone above and beyond the scope of their assigned responsibilities and therefore enhanced business (operational or financial) within the past 12 months.
  • Description of the individual’s commitment to improvement and the tourism industry.
  • A supportive testimonial and/or supporting statement from a co-worker, supervisor and/or customer.
